This week in food technology club we have made fruit kebabs. We have used lots of fruit including: Pineapple,Kiwi, Banana, strawberries, grapes and melon. We also included marsh-mellows (as a little treat). We have all made two or three each to take home ready to enjoy after our dinners. Molly Said "It was very delicious and fun and i hope we do fruit kebabs again because we get to make our own decisions of what fruit we like the best."
Week Two -- Sausage rolls
This week we have made sausage rolls. first we took the meat out of the the sausage skins, then we kneaded them together. We made a long sausage in the center of a sheet of puff pastry. After that we sealed them with a fork, glazed them with egg and then put them in the oven to cook.
Charlee said "I have never made sausage rolls before and i have enjoyed learning how to make them. They are a little bit likethe Thai rolls my mum makes at home."
Today we have all made two pitta pizzas, first we spread tomato sauce onto pitta breads, then we put a bit of cheese on and then added the toppings that we chose to use. we baked then in the oven for around 10 minutes each, we cant wait to try them when we get home.
Sam said "We have used ham, cheese, mushrooms, peppers and tomato sauce and I have really enjoyed making these"
