Y6 Residential 2024

Sunday 8^th September 2024

We arrived at Hagg Farm after our coach journey and familiarised ourselves with our accommodation. We worked together in our dorms to set up our beds and organised our things. Then, we were issued our boots and waterproofs. Lunch was very much needed at this point!

It was time for our first activity, so we packed what we needed and headed out. One group headed out on the mini-bus to go caving. The others stayed around site to take part in other activities: climbing and archery, orienteering, zip wire and a local walk.

After we returned to the centre, it was shower time ready for our evening meal. Mr Robinson and Ms Elliott prepared a lovely meal for us: pizza, jacket potatoes and salad. We finished with a chocolate caramel cake, ice-cream or cream.

Time for PJs and settling down for a movie. Then, to the teacher’s surprise some children started asking to go to bed. We were all settled in our beds and asleep at a reasonable time!
