Schools and the Education Authority must not discriminate against pupils with special educational needs due to their disability.

At Newlands we promote the inclusion of special educational needs pupils in our admission arrangements and in all aspects of school life. Through our adaptive teaching, the needs of all pupils are catered for and our school site/facilities are accessible to all pupils and adults. We have an accessibility plan in place which shows our intent to include everyone at Newlands. 

If your child has specific needs, please arrange to speak with the head teacher so all needs can be met.
