Our Choir at Newlands is made up of Year 5 and Year 6 children. After school choir club takes place each Thursday afternoon and is ran by Miss Coupe and Mrs Underwood. 

Our choir will have opportunities to sing at different events such as a Christmas carol performance at King' Mill Hospital, we will visit local care homes to entertain the residents with our songs.

We are learning a combination of Harvest, Christmas and Young Voices songs. Young Voices will be the biggest event of the year where we will travel to Sheffield Arena in February and perform with a 4,000 children strong choir. We are learning 15 songs for the event  including a pop medley, a Bob Marley medley, a Let's Dance compilation and many more.
